Supported Housing
We provide a wide range of housing and support services for vulnerable people with different needs. Our staff provide one-to-one housing related support to help our tenants to live as independently as they can.
The Type of Support Provided Includes:-
- Welfare Rights advice
- Budgeting
- Managing a home
- Healthy living
- Getting out-and-about
- Help with taking medication
- Getting in contact with other services
- Applying for housing
The WISH Project
We provide housing and support to people with mental health problems in Swansea and Neath and Port Talbot. This includes 24 hour staffed hostel type accommodation, women only accommodation, shared housing and self-contained flats.
This service is registered with and regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales.
Carmarthenshire Supported Housing Project
We provide housing and support to single people who would otherwise have problems managing a home. The project consists of four self-contained flats based in Llanelli and Ammanford.
Carmarthenshire & Swansea Floating Support Projects
We provide support to Family Housing Association tenants in Swansea and Carmarthenshire who are having problems managing their home.
Neath Young Persons Project
We provide housing and support to four young people leaving care in Neath and Port Talbot. The project consists of four self-contained flats in Clydach, Pontardawe and central Neath.
Family Housing Association (Wales) Ltd's Special Projects Department develops and manages schemes for a wide range of vulnerable people who need the benefit of care and support.
The care and support provided can vary from the 24-hour support given in specifically-designed projects, to support visits for someone who is able to live independently with assistance. The Special Projects department also manages specific accommodation for older people.
