Who we are

We are a traditional registered social landlord (RSL) based in Swansea. We develop and manage homes in South West Wales. The majority of our homes are in Swansea and Carmarthenshire but we also have homes in Neath Port Talbot, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

We operate within the Welsh Government’s regulatory requirements which ensure that we act with probity, safeguard the wellbeing of our tenants and use public monies responsibly.

We are a registered society under the Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and have charitable status. This ensures that the original aim of providing homes for people in need is maintained.

Present Activities

We currently build, improve and manage homes for a wide range of people including:

  • families
  • single people
  • older people
  • people with disabilities
  • people requiring additional support

We recognise that some people need assistance to live independent lives within the community.  We have an established reputation in providing much needed supported housing accommodation and services for:

  • homeless people
  • disabled people
  • women with support needs
  • young vulnerable people
  • people with learning difficulties

Some of these we manage directly, others are jointly managed with partners from the voluntary sector who have a specialist knowledge and experience to benefit the client group.

In 2005 we expanded our older persons’ services to include extra care. Our award winning extra care scheme in Hazel Court, Swansea was the first scheme of its kind in Wales, providing 120 new homes for people over 55. The project offers a new style of living which allows people to retain full and active lives.

Following the success of Hazel Court we have built similar projects in Cardigan and Pembrokeshire and are currently working on two new projects  in Carmarthenshire.

We also continue to build new homes and supported housing to meet the needs of our local authority partners.
