Family Housing Association (FHA) was established in 1975 as a non profit-making organisation. It provides high quality, affordable homes and services and now manages over 2,000 properties throughout the Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Neath Port Talbot areas providing homes to meet the differing housing needs of a wide variety of people.

Our aim is to continue to develop homes for families, the elderly and for those who need care and support.

Family Housing Association (Wales) Ltd has charitable status and is affiliated to the National Federation of Housing Associations and Community Housing Cymru.

Service Standards

We have developed a set of Service Standards in consultation with our tenant Service Assessors and members of staff. These standards have been approved by our Board of Management and give tenants an indication of the type and quality of the services they can expect to receive. Each new tenant will be provided with a copy of the Standards when they sign for their property.

We will use the Standards to measure our services and will set specific levels of performance which we will need to achieve.

Tenants will be kept informed of progress and we will publish our performance against the standards each year in our tenant magazine and the website.

You can download a copy of the Service Standards leaflet here.

Tenant Feedback

We have looked through the results of tenant surveys, focus groups, work carried out by our Service Assessors, complaints and comments you have made.

As a result of the information that you have provided us with, we have been able to provide services that you want in a way that you want them. For details please click here.
